How do you take off fingernail polish with things you can find around your house?

like i don't have fingernail polish remover and i need to take it off what could i use in place of it?How do you take off fingernail polish with things you can find around your house?
If you have any isoproyl alcohol, that works, but you might not be able to find it in your house. Try soaking your finger tips in warm water for awhile, then use some hydrogen peroxide or the isoproyl alcohol. If that doesn't work, try painting over them with a couple of coats - one to smooth it over and the other as a final coat. More fingernail polish! Just paint over it and quickly wipe it off while its still wet. either that or use Jordana brand nail polish. when its dry and you want to take it off, its so easy that you can scratch it off!
well what i do is i soak my fingers in warm water for about 3 minutes and after that i start peeling off the nail polish. What the water does it makes the nailpolish easier to remove.
paint clear nail polish over them and take a paper towel and wipe it off while the clear nail polish is still wet. you might have to scrub it hard but it works!
