My two year old smashed his thumb in the door -- when should the fingernail start falling off?

my daughter just did that but it took like 3 weeks cause u gotta wait for the blood blister to go away then it dies and it will fall off. hers is already growing back just make sure to watch it and make sure it dont swell up cause that happend to my daughters and we had to take her to the doc and get it drained ... good luck
