I was thinking gold. What do you think?What color fingernail polish looks best on a tan girl?
I think the best thing is a french manicure. But if you don't want to have a french manicure all summer here is what I do:





I paint my nails with french manicure polish. Then I take a thin acrylic overlay to protect it. Then if you choose to wear a different color that matches your outfit all you have to do is apply two coats over the french manicure to change the color.





Then if you want to go back to the french manicure all you have to do is use NON-ACETONE nail polish to take of the polish and then you will have your french manicure back.





This is so convenient because french manicure goes with anything and if you don't have time to polish your nails you can still have a great look for summer.

Because your skin is tanned the gold nail varnish will not look so effective, i think that different shades of pink, or certain peachy browns look good also.
Gold looks great on tanned skin - any of those goldish and sandy colors. Try pastels and pearls too.

I think gold, brown, beige and other ';earthcolors'; will fit fine on you.
Amber, coral, or cream color.
i am tan-ish 2....n i put wat ever color suits me......how about try a color tha suit u....lol....
Whether you're tanned or not, it still depends on your skin tone (cool, warm or neutral.) If you have a warm skin tone, gold would probably look nice against tanned skin, as would coral-y pinks. If your skin tone is cool, though, maybe try a brighter shade of pink (something with a blue undertone) or lilac.
Anything but red
Yeah, gold is good. Even bronzey-oranges look good. Anything that has sparkle and is more sheer than opaque.
